The efforts to build the Halemba church alreadystarted in 1886. Soon the owner of the local lands count Hugo Henckel vonDonnersmarck obliged himself to give a terrain for the construction of the church. The works were run in the years 1889-1890 on the basis of the designby F. Müller , the building master of the Donnrsmarck court.
The building was raised in the style referring to the neo-Gothic church which is confirmed by tall, tapering little towers and application of abutments in the presbytery part. Also wooden decorative elements reminding a form of timber framing (in the upper part of the tower and lower part of the church) attract attention. This architectonic motif is also used in the vicarage, built in 1906.
